Birthday Cake Croissants at Union Fare

One early day in the Flatiron area, Brian and I wandered into Union Fare, this HUGE cafe/bakery/cafeteria/cozy brunch spot. The coffee is delicious but we specifically went to try the Birthday Cake Croissant. (We ended up getting that, the Fruity Pebbles, and the Red Velvet Croissant because what is self-control anyway, amirite?) Click through for more photos!

A definitive ranking: if you can only afford to get ONE croissant because #calories, I recommend the Birthday Cake (pictured above). Followed by Red Velvet (below right), and then by the Fruity Pebbles variety (below middle). It was this day that I realized how much I detest Fruity Pebbles. Also, try and go before noon because they do run out of croissants later in the day.
