Graffiti & Miss Paradis

I love Freeman Alley – there's usually a good amount of work by SacSix and it's always neon bright. I did find that Chris Uphues' hearts in one corner got covered up though – sad that it's a natural part of graffiti; it's ever changing. Which is why I love walking around the city and finding new ones! Capped it off with some late lunch and prosecco at Miss Paradis – a bright and cheery spot designed by Philippe Starck! Urban Art Fair

Photos from the Urban Art Fair – especially fun since there was a double book signing featuring Lori Zimmer & Luna Parks, authors of “The Art of Spray Paint” and “(UN)SANCTIONED” as well as some of my faves: Logan Hicks, Joe Iurato, Crash, & Nick Walker. Also, Brian and I bought a Shepard Fairey print! All in all, a great day (despite the crippling humidity). Click for more photos!

Market Surplus

A couple of weeks ago, in the sweltering New York City humidity, Brian and I headed down to the Lower East Side for Market Surplus – the popup streetart show put together by one of my favorites – Hanksy. There were works from 10 artists who each had a wall to fill and despite the heat, it was awesome to see a lot of familiar faces. I got to meet Hanksy, Nick Walker (who was thoroughly enjoying a popsicle), and Buff Monster. Click through for more photos!

Engagement Photos in Coney Island!

So on Sunday, Brian, Bianca, Lizzie, & I ventured out to Coney Island to meet our Wedding Photographer, Nato. First of all, she is incredible. If you’re in the market or know someone who is, I highly recommend her and we haven’t even done my wedding yet!

Second of all, we couldn’t have had a more perfect day to take photographs. We went to Coney Island earlier than our meet-up time and my sis, Brian, Lizzie, & I had a leisurely lunch at Nathan’s. Two boxes worth of junk food later, we snooped around and snuck Lizzie into the Coney Art Walls area (LOL!) while walking off our huge meal. Finally, we met up with Nato and took some amazing shots around the boardwalk and the amusement park. Brian and I had a great time just pretty much being ourselves and my amazing sister helped handle Lizzie when we went on the rides for some action shots. Click through for more photos!

Graffiti + Skinny Dip London

Walked downtown for a bit before stopping by the Skinny Dip London pop-up. They always have fun conversational pieces and I wanted to see them in person. Wall art by Bradley Theodore & Shepard Fairey are a nice bonus! Click through for pics!
