I don’t drink beer. But I love Beerfests. And bacon. I love bacon. The Bacon and Beer Classic is a yearly tradition – we purchase the VIP passes and sample sips of craft beer while noshing on bacony bites at Citifield. I can’t think of a better way to spend 5 hours. Click through for more pics!

Artexpo New York
Art shows are always fun. You get to peruse a lot of original artwork and get inspired. I think it’s such a great way to spend half a day on a weekend. I went on Saturday for inspiration and also to stop by my friend Amanda’s mom’s booth – one of her encaustic paintings was on display. Click through for more pics!
Cha Cha Matcha
I love places that are painted all shades of pink. It’s so aesthetically pleasing! I’ve been to Cha Cha Matcha a couple of times – their matcha latte is really good and I love watching the barista mix it with her electric whisk – much more fun than the bamboo matcha whisk I have at home. I don’t know what it is but matcha tastes better when someone else makes it for you. Click through for more photos!
Ice & Vice
This past weekend was the perfect day for ice cream. Stopped by Ice & Vice and got a scoop of the Pickles of the Caribbean (rum, coconut, & pickled pineapple jam) on top of a scoop of 9AM (vietnamese coffee & donut truffle) all on a Chai-spiced dark chocolate cone. SO GOOD!!! Click through for more photos!
Graffiti
One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is hunting down awesome street art all over Manhattan, Brooklyn, and sometimes New Jersey. After a failed attempt at brunch, we salvaged the day by going on a self-guided mini tour of our favorite spots. Click through for photos!
