Picasso, Baby.

Our last day in Barcelona was packed with more sightseeing, and even more food.

Started out seeing The Giants (behemoth paper mache figures that are commonly used in fiestas), a walk through the Gothic quarter, the Picasso museum, a tour inside Gaudi’s Casa Batllo, a metro trip to Quimet y Quimet for dinner, and finally, a nightcap at Els Quatre Gats – a cafe that used to be frequented by Picasso himself.

Barcelona in May: Le Itinerary is booked!

I’m excited about this Spring for a multitude of reasons. First of all, it’s not snowing/hailing/sleeting/freezing/polar vortexing & that’s always cause for celebration in my book. Another reason is that next month, I’m going to Barcelona!
